Sant Jordi Day

People from everywhere are gathered in Catalunya on 23rd of April to celebrate Sant Jordi day.

Casa Batlló was covered in red roses with loads of people gathering around it to appreciate the beauty of this romantic day. We felt intense and beautiful feelings of love and romace all around us.

On this day, you can find lots of roses and books stands all around the city. Many people were working hard in order to provide these amazing products to draw a smile on our faces.

In this video you can see the huge crowd around Casa Batlló, everyone was taking pictures and selfies while enjoying this mesmerizing view.

 

Sant Jordi is the day of books and roses, it´s celebrated on April 23rd in Catalunya, Spain. This day is traditionally known as Diada de Sant Jordi in Catalan. On this day, books and roses are exchanged and love and literature are celebrated. This is not considered a national holiday but workers and students get to leave their jobs or schools earlier than usual to celebrate this special day.
